3/9/2024 0 Comments Memory leak hogwarts legacyWithout a swap file (I have 32GB RAM), my game constantly crashed (playtime < 1 hour). it takes longer, but eventually all memory will be used. I played the game for 5 or 6 hours straight yesterday, there's no memory leak. There was no patch today, you're reading the patch notes from a week old patch. Well in the patch today it's indicated that the memory leak related to global lightning system is fixed. The only time its an issue is if you are getting the out of memory crashes. Its not like high cpu use, its not going to throttle you. High ram use is fine, and beneficial, as you're not just wasting hardware capabilities. Enjoy.Įdit : same for everyone that say so brashly that there is no leak because they feel dry. (also, as your answer start by "Since the game doesn't have a memory leak" and the patch fix leaks, whatever you say after that is useless as you're starting by being wrong. It's the second leak fixed in three patch. Well in the patch putted on Steam today it's indicated that the memory leak related to global lightning system is fixed. If you are getting Critical warnings, or BSODs showing out of memory, then something on your system has an issue. Since there's not hundreds of thousands of people reporting it, its not happening. A memory leak is not hardware specific, every one of us would be experiencing it if it were happening.
